I think I have identical problem as yours. My SB2 has worked just fine for about 3 weeks.
Just yesterday however it literally stopped playing music. NOW PLAYING shows the current song fine and connects to slimserver fine, but there is no progress in the playing time bar - it stays on zero. Please let me know if anyone has fixed such problem. Perhaps it is case of the hardware just went bad, but quite strange because all other connectivity seems to work, including RSS news feeds which still work fine.
