Thanks Nonreality, truth be told, all I'm after is something like vPod that is able to add/ delete mp3 to my iPod(s) without having to interact with that malware. flac2mp3 and/or dbpoweramp converter do all that's necessary iro creating MP3 from my FLAC library. A while ago I made the mistake of upgrading the iPod's firmware not realising that it would mean I was then tied to the malware.
