Please help, I'm completely stumped. I have taken the MusicMagic folder out of the Slim/Plugin folder and restarted SC. I can then see that the plugin has been entirely removed from the SC web gui.
I download the adapted MusuicIP plugin from Phil's web site (Phil, have you ever considered putting a link to it in your sig... it takes me ages to find the plugin each time!): http://www.hergest.demon.co.uk/Music/slim/MusicIP.htm and install it into Slim/Plugin directoty, verifying that the Musicmagic folder has ended up in the correct place. Then I restart SC. The plugin entry reappears in the SC web gui...... but still no "Read Song Data" checkbox. I have attached a screenshot, just in case it is there and I need to seriously consider a visit to the doctor. I can only think of four possibilities: 1) I am looking for the "Read Song Data" checkbox in the wrong place 2) The plugin I am downloading from Phil's site is not the adapted one at all, but the original one 3) There is a bug 4) I'm missing something that will be entirely obvious to others I have a horrible feeling the problem is 4) but just in case, to check out 3) I did a text search through the files downloaded from Phil's site for "Read Song Data". The phrase was found in strings.txt (only). Is this to be expected?
