The take-home message...it depends on your ears and equipment! However there is a quick experiment you can try - take a throwaway coax video cable that comes with a DVD player etc., RCA-type usually with yellow-coloured grips on the end, and try that with your coaxial connection. See if you like it. If so, you can keep using this cable if you want but it may be better to switch to a better cable simply because the connectors and cable will be sturdier. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, just something a little beefier. Or you could try optical if you really don't like it. You probably won't notice much of a difference except if you get a ground loop through the coaxial cable. -- Mark Lanctot Current: SB2, Transporter, Boom (PQP3 - late beta) Stored: Boom (PQP1 - early beta), SBC (beta - no battery) Sold: SB3, Duet ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53589 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
