Doesn't directly answer your question, but I'm using my Duet remotes with a couple of old Soundbridge M1001 units as well as the Squeezebox receivers. I have one in my garage and the other on my patio - basically a couple of free zones since I had them laying around. The downside is they don't support Rhapsody or Pandora, but work fine for my local library and internet radio.
