I have noticed in the forums that when someone has a good idea on how to improve the SqueezeBox, or Boom, or SqueezeCenter, an experienced user says "submit a FR" (feature request).
I assume that there is a defined procedure for submitting a FR - perhaps a forum topic dedicated to this, or a place on the Slim Devices web site for users to submit FRs. But I haven't been able to find where to do this. Thanks, Malcolm P.S. My idea that I want to submit is: on the Boom, there is a setting for "alarm volume" which is the volume at which the unit turns on when it wakes up in its mode as an alarm clock. The problem is that there is only one volume setting for all alarms. This should be reconfigured so that the user can choose the volume for each alarm differently. For example: alarm 1 is the radio, on very low volume, at 6:00 AM. Alarm 2 is a recorded sound such as clip-clop of horses' hooves, on medium volume, at 6:20.
