I've been having SC 7.2 problems, too... I had 7.2 installed for a week or so. Something would happen quite frequently (not sure what) and the Squeezebox would go completely blank (I think it was a wireless network drop) and have difficulty coming back. Pushing a button on the remote brought up the "Connecting to wireless network" status message and it just stayed there for awhile.
Back to 7.1 and everything is fine...
