hey all,

anyone know of a non-networked way to send audio from a computer to a
receiver, (wirelessly of course)?

i have a friend who can't handle the cost/tech of slim. i don't even
think the old school "RCA Lyra wireless" setup is good for this.

basically, what i'm looking to do is hook up a "xmtr" to one half of a
rca-minijack splitter, (y cable) and his computer speakers to the
other.

the wireless receiver would then receive the signal and put it out over
his stereo which is in his shop, (i wouldn't think more than 50 feet
max, probably less). winamp will play the tunes. this will keep his
computer speakers and shop speakers in sync, and he is basically
comfortable with winamp.

i'm a little worried with the sound quality, as i assume such a
solution will be FM / RF modulated... but reasonable "FM Stereo"
quality should suffice.

any ideas?
