Sorry to hear you are still having problems. Am assuming you've tried all the suggestions including re-adding execptions in your firewall/antivirus program.
Assuming you're running wireless - can you try running the Server and Network Health test (go to Help in the webinterface) and post the results here? The lag could be a network congestion issue (and this doesn't mean you've or Squeezecenter has changed anything - it could be as simple as a neighbour adding a new wireless network which is interfering with yours). -- Siduhe Who am I on 'LAST.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/siduhe)?
