For functionality which is not on the SC spec sheet - check for 3rd party plugins - under Forum web page - Community-Plugins. Also check the Wiki for workarounds.
Specifically for WaveInput http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/WaveInput_plugin Read the Wiki entry first as the following will not make sense otherwise. If you want to use Line-in as source and still have own PC audio out of PC speakers, you will need to check what "device number" is assigned to Line-in (use "wavin2cmd -l") and then use the Line-In device number instead of "wavin:0" when creating your Favorites.
