One of the reasons I purchased this system was the fact that it was my understanding (web site, user manual, etc), that a computer isn't needed. Having to connect to the SqueezeCenter means I have to leave the computer on does it not?
To be honest, syncing at the moment is a pipe dream - I would like to just get one of the damn receivers to play continuous music. I'm lucky to get 2-3 hours at one point before it stops on me. I use to own a Roku - and after several years of service, it died on me. I had the opportunity to purchase a replacement at a good price, but I liked all the promises that the Squeezebox Duet offered. I wish I had my Roku back - it was reliable when it came to playing days upon days of music without stopping. Like I've said, I'm frustrated and disappointed in this system.
