No, iTunes cannot control your SB. Try looking at the slimfx skin - search these forums for 'slimfx' (without quotes) and you'll find it fast enough. I agree that SC is not a good interface for making playlists, so you should consider making your playlists in another application, like iTunes. You could even use the iTunes integration.
