If you download artwork from Apple, then it doesn't appear on the Duet controller. However you can do the following:
Open iTunes. Select the album and right-click on the artwork image. Select the copy option. Right-click on the album name and select clear downloaded artwork. Now paste the copied artwork back. For some reason, when you copy artwork, or load your own artwork, then all works fine.
