SqueezeCenter is not audio player software, it is audio server software. If you want to play something on your pc, use SoftSqueeze, which is a Java-based software SB emulator. You can find it under Extras in your SC menu (left side). Or you could try SqueezePlay, which emulates the SB Controller.
