Hmm, I cannot make your decision. There a few pros and cons for each
box.
As I know a NAS cannot connfigured to WOL (if I'm wrong please anybody
will correct me).

A NAS can be used for storage and to secure data with different
RAID-Levels.
But the NAS needs running the whole time which is also a money decision
(Power all the time). Second pro. Anybody in your network can use the
NAS if necessary.

I prefer the eeeBox. Because it's small and very low with power
consumption. The internal disk can be changed to a bigger one. WoL is
working. As I described before. If I use a 2,5" HD connected with USB,
this HD will spinn down when the Box is going down. Also spinning up
wenn waked up. I can get 2,5" HDs with 500GB which is a lot of space,
especially when I use 2 of them. The EeeBox B202 has 4 USB-ports. One
is needed for a wireless mouse and keyboard. So there a 3 for
extensions.

Note: If you use a 3,5" HDD connected. This drive needs a external
power device. Maybe the HD is powered down when the box is going down.
But after rewake the box will not start. You have to press the power
button of the HD.
