Is this a Windows Mobile player that you're building from scratch? I thought that I'd see a port of Squeezeplay to the Windows Mobile platform before I saw and independent player. A player like Squeezeplay for WM with a built-in SSH client would solve all my problems as I'd rather avoid exposing unsecure ports at the router. Sometimes I open the SC port and use Conduit's Pocketplayer on my 3G Smartphone while I'm away to connect to the stream.mp3 interface of my server. I then use the mobile Web UI of the server via PIE to either start one of my favorite playlist or to enable SugarCube and then click on one song and let it do its thing. Once the stream is started is a bit frustrating as there is not much one can do via the Pocketplayer to control the stream. I only do this when I'm stuck at one my client's sites as they don't allow me to bring my laptop or to connect to their Local network. I use SoftSqueeze from my laptop from most other remote places. -- tamanaco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tamanaco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36136 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
