I should have posted back last night. I realised after I wrote this that artwork wasn't showing my library since the last 7.2.x upgrade. A full rescan solved it. I'll test tonight, but assume it will now show in iPeng as well. Glad you like the suggestion re: progress indicator. I think it might help with issues like this so you at least know if you should expect to see certain detail or not.
