I see the same thing.  Scans are now taking several seconds per track, no matter
which importers are used.

Just downloaded the 6th Aug 6.2 nightly and I seem to have lost the ability to access any Windows shares now :-( is this possible - as a consequence of some changes ?) I did totally remove the previous service version of 6.2 and reinstalled as a standalone application again (XP) . The music folder and links remained the same. If I navigate into the music folder and a share I see File Format: "Unknown".

Are posts about 6.2 ok here or preferred to the dev list - or perhaps should there be a beta list too ??
