How long did you wait for the cover art to show up? Are you sure the albums were fully loaded? This can take a bit longer now if you do a lot of scrolling since scrolling takes up all the CPU time (1.0 was blocking the foregroung thread so you could not scroll). If waiting doesn't help try restarting (not reinstalling) if that doesn't help try flushing the cache.
