In the hope of improving the stability of one of my Booms, I upgraded to
7.3 nightly from 6th December. Whilst things seem generally more
stable, I had some strange results with the alarm functionality this
morning.

For reference:

- I have 2 Booms
- The first is in the kitchen and has no alarm set, but is set to sync
with the second
- The second is in the bedroom and has a M-F alarm set at 6:20am
- Kitchen and bedroom are set to sync music, but not volume or power

This morning, the alarm went off on the bedroom Boom as scheduled at
6:20am and I hit snooze (once, snooze is set at 10 minutes). After
this point the alarm never sounded again - I waited until about 6:40
and finally powered it off (the alarm indicator was still flashing at
this point, but no music was playing).

After I came out of the bedroom I realised the kitchen Boom was on and
playing.

This is definitely not the same behaviour as the previous firmware/SC
version, and I really hope it's not by design. Unless set to power on
together, I don't feel the 'second' machine should be affected by the
alarm at all. Can anyone clarify how this should be working?

By the way, although this situation involves 2 Booms, I assume this to
be an issue with firmware and/or SC rather than specific to the Boom.
As such I've posted it here rather than the Boom forum.

Cheers,

Tom
