Actually, I cannot really tell because I have no access to Rhapsody
myself, but other users here on the forum where quite enthusiastic
about it.
iPeng DOES support the search fields, so searching with the iPod's
keyboard should work, if results are alphabetically sorted it should
show an index for long lists and also artwork, if present.
Search this thread for some screenshots.
One "quirk" of the Rhapsody implementation, as I understand, is that
you have to use the "touch-and-hold" gesture to start tracks and albums
because Rhapsody would always show a lower level when clicking.

The iPod is a music player, too :-)
But you are right, streaming to iPeng is not (yet) implemented. But how
long did it take the controller until that worked (actually, it's still
no "official" functionality)

Can't argue with buggy right now :-(
That's one of the issues with the way the App Store works. You find it
hard to do REALLY large scale betas (I have ~30 people in my beta
program right now, which already makes it a bit complicated, and all
these issues went in uncaught), but especially it takes long to supply
fixes. The "The The" fix is now ready for almost two days, yet I cannot
say, when it will be out.

But what exactly do you find slow? The synchronization with the server
is the only thing that comes to mind. But except for that I'm ready for
a shootout against the controller on all browsing tasks, especially
complex ones. How long does it take you to get to, say, find, say,
"Ringleader of the Tormentors" by "Morrissey" in your 3.000 album
library?
