Oh yes! Although it's not a purely US phenomenon.
You could use a groupie inflator per year and state (I hear it's also
different in different states?). Not an issue in Europe, here we would
introduce a set of 256 harmonized groupie units that will be
standardized across the EU.

Where in Indiana are you from? I know Kokomo and Indianapolis.
