Having not gotten any responses, let me ask a more pointed question. I am wondering whether my problem is that I am running iTunes off a mac and SC off a ReadyNAS. The result is that the path names in the iTunes.xml file (which are relative to the Macintosh) don't make sense to SC and so SC is just not ignoring the iTunes playlists.
Does that make sense?
