I know a SB is "better", but the controller is much more flexible if you don't just "sit and listen" and I don't think using it as a walkman with headphones works - I would much prefer to take it with me and dump it in a dock nearby. Besides, a SB Boom costs 5 times as much as a cheap set of iPod speakers.
