1. I think that's really the issue I described. ReadyNAS is reported to be pretty slow, althogh 1GB RAM sound quite sufficient to me... This will probably only be fixed in 1.1. The problem is, SC doesn't have that functionality so iPeng will have to do this itself and communication lags hurt that way.
BTW, is your database synchronization completed (in iPeng), do you see cover art? 2. I'm sorry, I really cannot reproduce this.
