You didn't say anything about Popcorn Hour (aka Network Media Tank) and
how you wanted to use it. I'll assume you are asking in the context of
SqueezeCenter.

Right now PCH does not have a SqueezeCenter client. There is an
application with a nice graphical interface that controls SqueezeCenter
clients (kind-of looks like slimroku's GUI). But that's about it.

The problem w/PCH is that "they" haven't released any (much) information
as to how to interface with their drivers. You are left with the built
in audio/video player which takes over the PCH box during play back. I
can't imagine this working well for SqueezeCenter (i.e. no browsing
during play back, no fast forward, limited remote control over the web,
ect...). The NMT's build in Linux/Syabas based software is more of a
UPNP client. So, you would probably be better off running something
like Swiscenter or Wizd then SqueezeCenter for serving up your media.

Have you thought about throwing in the towel and just building a dual
core multimedia mythtv box? You could then run the mythsqueeze plug in
and have plenty of power for what ever else you might be thinking about
(HDTV hint hint).

If you are iPod centric I don't think you really have a choice. BTW, I
know people who went that route and now use their Apple TV instead of
their SB. Just FYI.
