Probably will not happen soon. In short, the interfacing w/the NMT HW is a mystery. Why "they" want people to develop code but will not give out how to interface w/the NMT is baffling. What you are left with is the possibility of a SqueezeCenter client that "disappears" during music play back. So, things like fast forward, browsing, remote control over the web, skip ahead to the next track, adding to favourites, ect... are not available while listening to music.
