The only advantage I can see is that you can play the music from a
friend's ipod (because any music on -your- ipod would reside on a HDD
accesible by SC, and thus playable on a Squeezebox).
It seems a lot of RnD just to create a product that would only be used
when friends come over.
The RnD costs would probably make this product less-than-cheap, making
it an unattractive product for seldom use. Meaning they probably won't
sell well.
So, don't hold your breath.
Just plug your friend's ipod into your receiver.
