I'd be grateful for any thoughts on this irritating issue, as I can't find anything about it in the forum archives or elsewhere.
I recently upgraded to SC 7.3.1 (I run SC on an Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop box); the SB3s use Firmware 121. My two SB3s have 'Now Playing Info' set to display track progress, time remaining and small spectrum. Since the upgrade, the track progress bar sometimes remains blank while SC plays the playlist (though the numerical 'remaining time' resets correctly at the start of each track and decrements appropriately). If the progress bar is blank when I start using an SB, it stays so for the session. But the problem does not happen every time I turn on an SB, and I can't reproduce it -- it just happens sometimes. Sometimes, if I clear the playlist and turn the SB off, the progress bar is working properly when I later turn the SB back on, and play tracks -- even though I have not restarted SC. This is a minor irritation; but I'm interested to know if anyone has experienced it, or - better yet - found a fix.
