One more post of praise for SD/Logi:

My old DVR died on me last week and the replacement I got was a bit of
an upgrade. The two ethernet ports on the back caught my eye. After a
little internet searching I found out that they are functional and what
I can use them for. Dug up my crossover cable and plugged it into the
DVR and SB3 sitting on top of my DVR.

It took me awhile to figure out how to enable bridging (it's in the
setup stupid!) and once I got it everything works like it should.

I knew the bridging feature was a good design choice and could be very
handy. Now I know how handy it is!
