Hello all, I have just bought a squeezebox controller which at the moment I am just setting it up to work with a squeezebox Boom. The plan is to also use it with an original SLIMP3 and an old squeezebox.
I have just got it out of the box and it connects to the network fine and tells me I need to update the firmware. I select begin update and it puts up the rotating circles with "copying Update" then "verifying update". After a while it says "There was a problem upgrading this remote. Please try again, or contact support." Try again - does nothing back and Begin Update - repeats the above By fiddling a bit with the buttons (pressing back and home I think) I can get to the menu that has "now playing" on it and it can start and stop the music, but there is no option to browse.
