I'm under the impression that one can stream mp3 to XMMS, WinAmp etc... I have experimented with this and can't get it to work.
It seems that xmms and winamp both connect to the ...:9000/stream.mp3 URL. The players show up in the Web Interface. There is no output. My entire collection is flac. Do I need mp3's? Is there some setting I'm missing? I don't have any immediate plans to use it, I just have to know how to make it work.
