Although the iPeng plugin is free and gives you a good idea of the
usability of the ipod touch or iphone, it does suffer from lag normal
for a web interface. Are you aware that there is an iPeng app in the
appstore? You would likely find that the speed concerns that you
express are removed.

And yes, I agree that the Squeezebox/iPhone-iTouch combo is a winner.
