I just did a little test myself, but it does seem to be scrobbling for me. I downloaded the latest version of the 7.3.3 nightly just this morning, though I think it has always scrobbled for me ever since the first version.
I think SqueezeCenter handles the scrobbling rather than the players themselves. I use WinAmp a lot to play (streaming from SqueezeCenter) from my library, which has no additional scrobbling stuff installed. Yet everything I play is sent to Last.FM. Might have been Last.FM having a glitch or are you still experiencing the same problem?
