Hm, still no luck here. SC7.4-24904/Windows (svn). These all show the same using both SoftSqueeze and SqueezePlay: Connecting, Buffering (up to 100%), Now Playing. The Ogg frame message is gone in the log, but -no sound-. All streams play in Winamp. Local Ogg files also play in SC.
