I discovered today that if you had previously installed the "normal" squeezeserver to a none-default location (in my case e:\squeezecenter) the addin install fails because it can't start the service. Uninstalling squeezecenter through add/remove programs didn't help until I answered yes to the question "remove all settings and logs". If I answered no to that question and tried running the addin-installer it just reinstalled in the e:\squeezecenter directory.
So now I am back to a clean install. I did take a backup of the settings-folder so hopefully I can paste it back in. If not I have to reconfigure the hole system :-( Normally this would not be a problem I guess, since most people that uses the WHS AddIn is new Squeeze-users. But for upgrading/changing from the normal squeezecenter to the whs addin like I did this became a problem.
