I am not a high-end audiophile, but am a slimdevice lover. I have my slimdevice hooked up to $200 Sony receiver, and it drives up to 4 sets of in-wall 8 ohm speakers. I rarely have it drive more than 2 pairs.
The receiver I have is fine, and really could be just an amp, but it needs to be replaced as it's about 1/2 inch too deep for the cabinet I now have it in. The cabinet is 17" wide, but only 10" deep. Does anyone know of a small footprint amp that's a good choice for me? I would like one that's 9" deep or smaller. It doesn't have to be high- end, and in the $200 price range would be great.
