MeSue, I have used a screen only protector ever since I got my Duets (not the exact one but as specified in an earlier post I used a similar sized phone one)
I also have a Harmony 1000 remote and got the full body protector for that, it can be fiddly to fit and I am not sure I like the slightly rubbery feel, it also makes it harder to seat in the cradle.
