My satellite receiver has a S/PDIF RCA connector. No optical connector, alas, you'll see why : It is SCART connected with my TV set, which has some ground leaks (up to 70 V!). I have had some problems with the analog link to my amplifier...
- Is the transformer-coupled S/PDIF input of the Transporter "floating" enough ? - Do i need some sort of insulation transformer ? - In that case, what stuff ? (impusion xformer ?) - More generally, are there some audible difference between the BNC and the RCA inputs, or is it simply a convenient way to switch between different inputs ? -- fakarava2 "To nobody, except those who will take pleasure here" (Franz Schubert, 01/31/1797 - 11/19/1828) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ fakarava2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16310 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=61198 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
