Similar problem here. Running SlimServer 6.1.1 - 3774 - Windows 2000 - EN - cp1252, wireless. For me, this includes the web interface running on both a remote laptop and on the PC running the server.
Interestingly, when I upgraded a while back I could no longer access the server (while on the server) except through the web interface (I used to have a direct executable for the server, on the server). But this is OK, although somewhat slower. I have iTUNES on the server, but I have not integrated any of it with Slim.
