That's what I was just thinking. I have a friend that bought a Cisco Pix box on eBay a while back at a good price. Turns out, the factory in China was making some for Cisco, and making some for themselves..... The one he got was a "counterfeit" & Cisco understandably wouldn't allow him to purchase software for it.
