I see what you're saying, but it isn't something that I like! I pretty much know when my SB3/Boom are connected to SN. I use SvrPowerControl (great plugin) to switch off SC at night, and switch over my SB3 and Boom to SN. Then at 6.30 the server restarts and reconnects those devices. I find the upper case AM/PM does make it harder to read. Sounds odd, but its tree. I guess it is a matter of personal taste.
