Hi, I've had a Duet for a while now and really like it. I'd like to get another receiver, but here's where the problem starts (I think).
>From what I can tell, the Duet remote remote, connects to the "system" via the wifi router, and not via the receiver. If this is the case, then this means that you can only use it (the "system") while the remote stays in range of the router.
