You were very clear, but the matter is not as clear as you would like it to be.
The Transporter and the lesser boxes all claim to be "bitperfect", but data can be lost or corrupted in the transfer to you DAC. Whether you can hear this will depend to some degree on the resolution of the DAC and the following analogue replay chain. In my opinion, you would need to have an extremely high quality replay chain to here the engineering imperfections of the Slimdevices/DAC interface. The problem playing of 24/96 files is resolved in the latest versions of Slimserver - it will downsample on the fly.
