Correct in every particular. It is really hard for the wireless
connection to be used since the connection needs to be configured
(especially as regards encryption) before the SBR can be reached
wirelessly. This is classic bootstrap problem.

The only safe way is to have only one network connection active.  Linux
users may be able to get a clue from the network device names, like
eth0, eth1 etc. I would take the safe approach, i.e., make sure to have
only one network adapter enabled and have that connected to your wired
router port. In Windows, you could use the device manager to disable the
other adapters for the duration of the configuration. If you have both
wired and wireless adapters, disable the wireless one and you should be
good to go.
