I see this was committed to the 7.4 development branch in r25809 (http://svn.slimdevices.com/slim?view=revision&revision=25809), which says that it was committed from your patch with a couple of changes. I'd prefer to take the patch from that officially committed to the 7.4 branch if possible so can you see any problems with me taking that rather than the patch you pointed at? That might leave me some 7.3-->7.4 differences to resolve, but I'll find out when I give that a go later.
