I'm running my SqueezeCenter on a *low power NAS* (QNAP TS-109) and I have noticed one possibility about how to increase SqueezeCenters performance.
Currently Artwork thumbnails are cached in one small size only, so SqueezeCenters has two files - original and downscaled copy. The problems is that there is a *need for a medium sized Artwork* also! Medium sized Artwork is used in SqueezeCenter web interface for the song that is currently being played. I have noticed, that SqueezeCenter makes this medium sized Artwork _on_the_fly_, and therefore sometimes it causes music playback problems. I think that when my music library is rescanned then _medium_sized_Artwork_should_also_be_cached_for_better_performance_.
