As you point out licensing issues are the problem with doing this. I don't mind adding links to the correct files but I haven't seen a definitive list yet and not owning a Mac I can't experiment.
And the versions that I have got working aren't the most current, which is why I wondered about hosting them.
So far when trying recent versions I seem to have mplayer working but AlienBBC not liking mplayer. I don't feel like more checking to find out why, though perhaps I will do something when I have more time and energy.
