You guessed just right. 
If anybody could give me a tip for an "insert" icon that goes nicely
with the "play" and "add" buttons from version 0.92. I will revert to
the previous icons.

That feature isn't fully finished. Thanks for reminding me.
Also, I had simply forgotton about the automatic reset to the current
album.
That is undesirable as it is now.

I don't know... I am trying to get as much information into the
item-list as possible. If many of you think the rest of the User
interface suffers from that, I must reconsider...

Someone suggested a swipe-gesture to move to the next menu (which would
eliminate on "=>" button in the lower right corner)

Also, the context-senitive button layout is all about saving screen
space. If many users do not like it, .. see above.
