Actually I ment the receiver. (I'm not able to shut of my controller, but I would almost never need that anyway). Thanks for looking into it though.
Regarding the scrolling I just registered my IPAQ hx4700. On that one the scrolling works a lot more like the old one. I can flick the finger and it continues for a while. On the 6815 it is almost as if the way I lift my finger off the screen stops the scrolling. So it just scrolls a few lines and then stops when I flick it. Could be related to the rather crappy touch screen on the 6815. Regarding the registration that's piracy for you right there. Personally I don't think you should/can fight it too much. Just get the price right and trust your users to register. You could go with a non-device specific serial instead that owners could use on multiple devices and then log serial activity for suspicious activity.
